This winter, I had the pleasure of working with some fantastic friends of mine on a concept video where we spoof Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” Video. For those of you who don’t know the original. It is filled with fantastic female dancers, all part of an amazing crew in New Zealand: ReQuest Dance Crew. It’s simple, sensual movements executed perfectly with bright, loud colors and a LOT of hip shaking. It has gone UBER viral, and for good reason. It’s probably one of the best dance music videos in the last few years.

Our video…
A longtime student, and dear friend of mine, rounded up a fantastic team. As lead choreographer, I used my experience on video shoots to make some basic sexy moves that would look great on camera. A few rehearsals, and a lot of jokes later, we arrived on set with 5 lbs. of gummy bears, and a lot of costumes.
Our director Ali, (who is a god among men) helped organize the shots, while my colleague Sarah Burke, my “dance wife,” assistant directed. It was one of the most hilarious shoots I’ve ever been on, and I was so happy to be a part of the project.
So here it is! The final product! Enjoy.
