Most recently, Alan took home the 1 on 1 Locking title at &#8220;Compete to the Beat&#8221; 2013 judged by the creator of locking, Don Campbell.<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-panel panel-default\"><div class=\"panel-heading\"><h4 class=\"panel-title toggle\"><a class=\"active\" data-toggle=\"collapse\" data-parent=\"#accordion-1\" data-target=\"#291bbe60d087874cf\" href=\"#291bbe60d087874cf\"><i class=\"fa-fusion-box\"><\/i>Commercial Work<\/a><\/h4><\/div><div id=\"291bbe60d087874cf\" class=\"panel-collapse collapse in\"><div class=\"panel-body toggle-content\">Commercially Alan\u00a0has performed on the TODAY Show three different times. \u00a0The first time dancing Vanilla Ice\u00a0and most recent as part of PMT Dance Studio&#8217;s Record Breaking <a href=\"http:\/\/www.today.com\/video\/dancing-into-the-record-books-with-the-worlds-largest-street-dance-522159683761\">&#8220;Largest Street Dance.&#8221;<\/a> \u00a0Additionally he has performed in various music videos with recording artists such as Matt Palmer (&#8220;I Wish&#8221;), Jen Kwok (&#8220;Date an Asian&#8221;), Green Street (&#8220;Time Won&#8217;t Change Us&#8221;).\u00a0 Alan&#8217;s abilities have allowed him to work with Superfly Productions, JetBlue, MTV&#8217;s Party for the People, and POON Productions, just to name a few. Alan has taught Hip Hop Dance at NYU, New York Public Schools, Legacy Dance (Minnesota), and in his 9th year as a Faculty Member at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pmthouseofdance.com\/#!alan-watson\/c1hwv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PMT Dance Studio in New York City<\/a>. He is a Principal Dancer and Choreographer for\u00a0PMT Dance Company and has performed in various venues with the company, including Alvin Ailey&#8217;s Citigroup Theater, the Pearl Theater, the CNE in Toronto, Canada, and the International Dance Festival in New York City. <div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep sep-none\" style=\"border-color:#e0dede;margin-top:20px;\"><\/div> <ul class=\"fusion-checklist\"><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-clearfix\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep sep-single\" style=\"border-color:#e0dede;margin-top:px;\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-one-half one_half fusion-layout-column fusion-column spacing-yes\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper\">\n<table cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td class=\"td1\" valign=\"top\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">This year marks the 3rd time I&#8217;ve appeared on the TODAY Show.\u00a0 This was a fantastic experience working with PMT Dance Studio to break the Guinness World Record for Largest Street Dance!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">We brought together 253 people, and had to make a 5 minute hip hop dance.\u00a0 One of the main stipulations was that it had to be continuous, without\u00a0stopping, for 5 whole minutes.<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The whole process took about a week of rehearsing in small groups.
